Job Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the ongoing management of the compliance program for the Prism Health North Texas (PHNTX) by coordinating audits and providing administrative support to the compliance program. This position upholds the PHNTX’s business ethics and quality expectations.


.Duties and Essential Job Functions

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Assists the Compliance Team and Compliance Committee with the development and management of PHNTX’s Compliance Program, and compiles data and prepares reports on various aspects of the Program.
  • Serves as steward of PHNTX’s procedure and contract management systems, ensuring that policies, procedures, and contracts are complete, appropriately approved, uploaded to their respective systems, and reviewed according to schedule.  Conducts periodic audits to ensure integrity of the systems.
  • Coordinates internal and external audits and risk assessments and collaborates with the Compliance Team and stakeholders to implement and monitor corrective action plans.  Reports findings and corrective actions to the Compliance Committee.
  • Assists the Compliance Team with triaging, investigating and monitoring Compliance Hotline complaints and incident reports.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of current Ryan White, HRSA, FQHC, 340B and other grant requirements, and HIPAA, fraud, waste and abuse and other applicable legal requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Health Care Management, or related field. Related experience may substitute for up to two years of college work.  
  • 3 years of experience working with compliance regulations in a business, professional or healthcare environment.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • 1 plus years of experience in internal auditing and monitoring.
  • 1 plus years of experience in project management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written formats.
  • Ability to collaborate with community service providers.
  • Ability to organize and complete work with minimal supervision
  • Must have valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
