General Description:
 The Corporate Training Partner is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing employee training programs within the organization. Focusing on developing and improving the skills, knowledge, and abilities of employees to align with the needs of the organization. This job description requires a strong sense of communication skills, as the Corporate Training Partner must work with multiple teams to ensure training programs meet the needs of various departments. Additionally, they need to stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and regulations.

Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities of the Job:
 
  • Develop and implement training and development programs and objectives, including individual training plans for new and existing employees.
  • Conduct needs analysis to identify training gaps and create solutions.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and schedule training sessions, including lunch and learns, offsite and onsite.
  • Create and maintain training materials, including standard operating procedures, presentations, handouts, and videos.
  • Create and maintain training on software systems usage such as ExponentHR, Talent Care, Concur, Bloom growth, Absorb, and Compliance Manager.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results, creating and reporting metrics, and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Grant requirements and company policies related to training.
  • Maintains Learning Management System to ensure up-to-date training are in place and assigns accordingly to employees.
  • Collaborate with other HR professionals and Managers to support organizational goals and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports on training activities and outcomes.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in training and development.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and schedule New Hire Orientation sessions biweekly.
  • Creates and maintains standard operating procedures for all departments.
  • Develops and maintains organizational communications such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training events and resources.
  • Coordinates HR Communications, including wellness communication emails.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
  • Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
  • Keen attention to detail and highly developed organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Personal leadership style that works effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources Management, or related field.  Masters a plus.
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred.
  • 5 years of experience educating adults in a corporate setting.
  • 5 years of developing, facilitating, and implementing educational offerings.
  • Experience in educating adult learners across broad ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System.
  • 5 years of experience in lesson and curriculum development and planning.
